Wind Can...

Photo Date : 19/04/2007
Camera : Nikon D70s
Lens : 18-55mm G f/3.5-5.6

Another flower, another Black & White.
It was a bit difficult take this shot in the garden.
Stretched out on the grass for don't cut the flower, but has been bootless...
three days ago my father have take out the mower.
Now I have a beautiful garden, but without flowers.

This is my new little drama.

So... remember... tomorrow is my birthday !

(Twenty years, oh my god, I can't believe that!)

Agree with Carlos nice DOF & SOFT border !! GOod choice of B&W !!
It is a bit soft on focus !! Trying using Filter->Sharpen->Unsharp Mask with settings of 300% at a radius of 0.3, threshold 0
These can be used for every RAW file..Should help u bring out details.
And ofcourse man have a blast on ur 20th birthday ...

I agree with some other comments on the focus..perhaps a little more focus could give a stronger contrast . Also I think that for this image perhaps a portrait layout would be better than a landscape, extend the amount of stem, would help to bring out the concept.

The soft focus works well here. I think you'd do better to recompose this so that the dandelion is to the left and more room and the seeds carrying to the right.
